A very nice set of five matching antique Victorian cut steel metal buttons, c. 1800's.

They have cut steel tops with metal backs and what appears to be brass shanks.

At just under an inch (7/8) in size they are not huge, but larger than frequently seen and very useable.

They are in exceptionally nice antique estate condition, free of breaks, cracks, stains, rust or any other issues.  The decorative cut steel tops have not been flattened, nor have the shanks.  Very good structurally, as well as aesthetically.

Although it does not show well in our images, these antique buttons really sparkle and reflect the light.
