Really a nice find!  A very large matching set of 16 vintage figural lace cocktail napkins.  They appear to be unused, retain original tags and remain in the original box.

The white pure linen napkins are embellished with fancy drawnwork and  fine figural lace depicting four leaf clovers, the traditional Irish, but widely acknowledged symbol for good luck and good fortune.

The napkins or mats are in exceptionally nice vintage estate condition.  A number have the original gold and white foil tags affixed reading: Made In Ireland All Linen.  Eight remain wrapped with ribbons, while the other eight, although also appearing unused, are not.  Careful inspection revealed no rips, tears, breaks, holes, snags, etc., to either linen centers or lace.  We did find a few very small, pale/light discolorations here and there, which are storage related from years of contact with the box, however these will disappear with first wash.  Normally we launder all linens, except when article is unused, with original tags present, as in this case.
