A very nice antique 19th century Victorian turkey red, cream and black child's handkerchief, or bandana.

It features interesting period graphics, with a young boy and his kite in a landscape scene.  The child is dressed in typical era attire; hat, jacket with lace collar, dress, striped stockings and high top button boots.  His kite is decorated with American flags, a moon and several gentlemen of color.

The hanky is in extremely nice antique estate condition.  It is seamed on three sides, with a selvage edge at the bottom.  There are no rips, tears, snags, etc., and no stains, just a couple of tiny, light specks.  Colors remain rich and vibrant.  I do not believe this kerchief was ever used or washed.
