This fluffy white vintage c. 1920 - 30's swansdown powder puff is topped with a charming porcelain half doll.  The little doll features an arms away pose and appears to be holding a powder puff (or similar round object) in her hand.  She is wearing a hat, decorated with an embossed ribbon and flower.  Both her square necked bodice and her hat were hand painted with gold gilding.  A yellow silk ribbon sash adorns her waist.
Due to the sash and how tightly she remains attached to the puff I am unable to view area where marks would be located, so unable to confirm origin, however her features are very pleasant and there is good detail to hat, collar, fingers, etc, so possibly German.

This lovely puff is in very nice vintage estate condition, with down feathers remaining quite fluffy, very full and clean.  The puff does really not appear to have been used.  The half doll is also quite nice, with some expected and appropriate light age related wear to gold gilt, mainly to the edge of hat and what may be an extremely tiny fleck to tip of her thumb on outstretched arm..  I really cannot see anything, but noticed a slight rough speck there, however it could just be an unglazed area or a tiny original factory blem..  Regardless, it is minute.  Please see close up, second image.  No cracks, breaks or other issues.
