Quantity:  1 pair

This pair of very high quality antique multi strap Edwardian shoes, c. 1909,  feature fine dark brown leather exteriors, with slightly lighter brown full leather linings and matching insoles, as well as leather outer soles.  Straps, vamps and toes are ornately decorated with sparkling faceted and cut bronze steel beads.  Each strap is secured with attractive mother of pearl buttons.  Flattering French Louis style heels.
Typically this type of fancy slipper would have been worn for formal day wear or evening and party.
The lining is marked with the numbers referenced above, but no size, maker, or retailer information.  Although the shoes are not marked as such, previously encountered period examples with similar high quality, completely kid leather lined interiors and matching insoles were often custom made.
Rather amazingly for authentic period examples these shoes are quite large in both length and width; actually a very wearable size today.  The shoe measurements detailed above were taken inside, with the tape laid flat, following the shape of insole.  I wear a size 8 and the shoes are a bit large for me.  I estimate they would fit size 8 & 1/2 to 9, possibly a bit bigger, especially if foot is narrower than my rather wide width, but remember this is just an approximation, please review the measurements for more helpful sizing info.
The shoes are a very dark brown shade, with gold bronze beads, however in the images they appear almost black, which is somewhat darker than actual.

They are in very nice antique estate condition.

The mother of pearl abalone buttons all appear to be original and present.

The bead work is completely hand done; the combination of cut and faceted beads creating wonderful reflection and sparkle.   I checked the beading carefully with a magnifying glass and believe there are only two, possibly three missing beads per shoe.  Please see the close up images.

While looking at the pictures I realized that I overlooked photographing the leather lined interiors, which are really exceptionally clean and nice.  Although the shoes have been worn, the insole, as well as the matching leather lining, really do not show noted use or wear, and remain amazingly spotless, free of stains, rips, tears, etc.

The soles are leather, with leather heel guards and while it is evident that the shoes have been worn, the soles and heels do not show distress or excessive wear.

Although there is some evidence of age, the leather remains quite supple, with a few minor nicks and scuffs, the most significant at point of right toe (see 3rd image) and some surface aging/drying to exterior sides/vamp area, which I think a treatment of mink oil or other leather conditioner/shoe polish would help improve/aid.

This type of multi-strap shoe, popular during the late Victorian to the Edwardian era, c. 1900 - 1914, is becoming harder to find, especially the elaborately decorated examples such as this nice pair, with extensive fancy hand executed bead work.
